This pedestrian ramp was conceived as a modular system with the aim of maximising comfort and spaciousness for the disabled, prams, pushchairs, the elderly, supermarket delivery personnel, bicycles, etc. The system consists of two parts – a lateral part (right or left side) and a central part. The lateral elements serve the purpose of a smooth transition to the horizontal plane of the pavement and is a two-plane part, one horizontal and one slanted. The ramp system features a curb which is adjustable in height to fit the different pavement levels and has a perimeter groove that provides good edge finish regardless of the pavement closure material used. The ideal configuration results from the ramp extending along the full length of the crossing, usually involving more than 4 central modules.
Pedestrian and vehicular versions are available
