Organic and sinusoidal, the curved “Arenas” seating system continues our research in the development of skin surfaces that are in contact with the body. Its skin is inspired by the imprint left by water on sand. These striated marks generate a rough, textured, but at the same time very soft leather. Being part of the “Arenas” seating system, this system presents great versatility in its configuration possibilities as it can be paired in two or more units, generating different concave or convex senses in the mating line. Additionally, together with the “Agua” table, it allows a morphological dialogue promoting its use for large scale spaces. Its materiality and the softness of its curves and textures allow its use in both at urban and at institutional spaces.
