Chafariz Drinking Fountain
As a recreation of the traditional neighborhood water spout, this dispenser for drinking water (or refreshing feet or head) solves the issue of providing water in public spaces. Ideal for refreshment after park games or cycling, or during summer walks, the “chafariz” stands proud waiting for thirsty adults and children. Both a totem and a user friendly play object, its steps and grab holes on the sides allow children to safely climb and drink. The grate at the base is an undulating surface which, with little holes simulating water drops, acts as a contention of water overflow. The lips of the spout keep the body dry.
